Groove Workshop
Quantize with strength, swing, groove templates and humanize for any MIDI file — with before and after.
Between “stiff” and “grooving” there are often just a few milliseconds. The Groove Workshop moves notes deliberately: onto the grid (QuantizePulling notes onto a grid. With strength below 100 % some human timing remains.More in the handbook →), slightly behind it (SwingEvery second eighth or sixteenth is delayed slightly. 50 % is straight, 54–58 % grooves, from 66 % it sounds like a shuffle.More in the handbook →), after a model (groove template) or with tiny random offsets (HumanizeSmall random deviations in timing and velocity so programmed notes do not sound mechanical.More in the handbook →). It also shapes VelocityHow hard a note is played, from 1 to 127. Varying velocity makes hi-hats and melodies feel alive. and note lengths.
