Why a yearly plan instead of a one-off purchase?
The devices keep growing: new genres, new generators, updates for new operating systems. A small yearly fee funds that fairly. So nobody is left stranded, the last version you received stays usable forever after twelve paid months.
What does the second year cost?
A third less: from your first renewal you pay 67 % of the regular price for good — Studio, for example, €26.13 instead of €39, a €5 device then €3.35. This applies after the pre-sale too. Your subscription price never goes up as long as your subscription runs without a break; if you cancel and subscribe again later, you start at the regular price. With the education discount it stays at 50 % — discounts do not add up.
Do I need prior knowledge?
No. Beginner mode explains every control, technical terms have tooltips, and the handbook walks you step by step to your first track. Pros switch to expert mode and see every parameter in a compact view.
Which DAW does it work with?
With any DAW that imports MIDI and WAV files. Drag results into your project or store them in your library.
What happens if I do not renew?
After at least twelve paid months you keep using the last version you received indefinitely; only new updates stop. Everything you created is yours anyway.
Is there a discount for education?
Yes, 50 % off every plan, every year, for pupils, students, teachers and music schools with proof. For class and school licences, get in touch.
How do I get the early-bird discount?
In the pre-sale from 11 November 2026 you get 30 % off the first year — on every plan and every single device. Newsletter subscribers get the link 24 hours early. The licence key arrives right away and activates with the beta on 15 December; your paid year only starts at launch on 15 January 2027. Until the beta we refund your purchase, no questions asked.
Can I buy single devices?
Yes. Each of the sixteen devices is available on its own for 5 to 9 euros a year (a third less from the second year), as a native app on two computers and with the Track School included. Purchases can be combined; from about seven devices the Studio plan is cheaper.
Can I give a licence as a gift?
Yes. The licence key is not tied to a person: buy it with your email address and pass on the key — under the Christmas tree, for example. It is activated on the recipient’s computer.
Does everything run natively? And where do my projects live?
Yes — the whole suite and every single device come as a native app for macOS, Windows and Linux, no browser and no cloud lock-in. Your projects and library live in a folder of your choice. Put it in iCloud Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive or Nextcloud, and your work follows you to every computer with the cloud service you trust.
Who sells the licences?
The software provider is artnorama UG. Sales are handled by our reseller Polar (merchant of record): Polar issues the invoice, takes care of payment and VAT and is your contractual partner for the purchase. The technology behind it — development, licence server and signing the software — is run by our partner LAN-SOLO. Details are in the imprint.
Can I switch plans?
Any time. When you upgrade you only pay the difference for the remaining term; a downgrade applies from the next renewal.
How can I pay?
Credit and debit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay plus regional payment methods that Polar’s checkout offers depending on your country. PayPal is not available there at the moment. Schools and companies can get an invoice on request. Prices include statutory VAT.
