What has changed in the devices, the app and the platform. The highlights also arrive by email every two weeks.
Track Manager and Track School
New: AN-14 Track Manager plans your track as a story — story templates such as Slow Burn, Two Peaks or Hero’s Journey, fully editable phases, energy and tension curves, transitions and a coach. Every phase opens the right devices. Plus the Track School: ten lessons that turn loops into tracks.
Filter Lab: the filter as an instrument
AN-15 makes filter moves visible and playable: curves over time, XY pad with recording, LFO, morphing between filter types and templates for build-up, drop and breakdown. Moves are placed in the Track Manager’s filter lane.
A studio for every DAW
Under “My DAW” you choose what you produce with — from Ableton Live to Logic Pro, FL Studio, Bitwig and Cubase to Reaper and Studio One. Help, glossary and Mix Coach then name your DAW’s tools.
Pricing and launch date are set
From January 2027 the devices come as a native app for macOS, Windows and Linux — in three plans from 24 to 49 euros a year. Newsletter subscribers get a 30 % early-bird discount and test the beta in December.
Four new devices in the works
Bass Lab, Melody Lab, Groove Workshop and Mix Coach expand the rack: basslines with slides and glides, hooks built from motifs, swing and humanize for any MIDI file and a prioritised to-do list for your mix.
Beginner and expert mode
One switch, two ways of working: in beginner mode the app explains every control and term, in expert mode everything is compact. Plus help at a keystroke and an interactive handbook.
Nine devices with their own pages and live demos
Every device now has its own page with a description, specifications and a demo that runs right in the browser — from the Chord Lab to the Genre Atlas.
Analyser measures loudness in the browser
The Analyser demo measures integrated loudness to ITU-R BS.1770, true peak, crest factor, stereo correlation and band balance — the file never leaves your computer.
Portal for collaborators is live
A private space to collaborate: invitation instead of open sign-up, personal project storage, a shared library, device booking and two-factor sign-in.
